We are very happy to announce the successful PhD defense of Cindy Chen. Cindy defended her work on holographic cytometry for sickle cell disease diagnostics. While it would be difficult to say goodbye to Cindy, her love of salmon, tennis, and board games, we won't have to just yet. Dr. Chen will be joining us here at the Duke BIOS lab as a postdoc where she will continue developing her latest project. Stay tuned for more!
