Collecting Angle Resolved Scattering Through a Single Multimode Fiber

Previous implementations of a/LCI utilize an imaging fiber bundle to collect the angular backscattering profile, which is costly, unstable, and has high component complexity and low throughput. We are currently developing an optomechanical system to achieve fast collection and reconstruction of angular scattering distributions using a single multimode fiber (MMF). Scattering phantoms and epithelial cancer cells will be used to evaluate the system.
