Cindy Chen

Doctoral Candidate

Cindy Chen is a PhD student in the BIOS lab. She holds a MS in biomedical engineering from Duke University and a B.Eng in electrical and biomedical engineering from McMaster University. During her undergraduate years, Cindy worked on microwave imaging research for breast cancer detection. She also has extensive internship experience in ASIC chip design verification.

Currently, Cindy's research interest is in high-throughput quantitative phase imaging. She aims to build portable, cost-effective cytometry systems.
